PROJECT

Prince’s Trust makes a splash of paint help local Community Centres.The students of the Prince’s Trust course at Coleg Menai, Caernarfon have completed their community phase of their course, helping the Caernarfon community by completing three painting projects. The first project at the Noddfa Community Centre, Cil Peblig was to repaint the second hall with emulsion as well as glossing doors and skirting boards. The work was completed to a high standard in two days thanks to the hard work of the team.The second project was to repaint a room at the Maesincla Centre in Caernarfon. The students completed this task in a day thanks to the kind donation of paint and equipment. The last of the projects tackled by the team was of a community house at the top of Ysgubor Goch in Caernarfon. Again the team transformed the tired and dated paint with a fresh coat making it a nicer space for the community to come and use for advice and guidance. Special thanks must be given to the tireless work of the Community Warden, the ladies at Noddfa and especially Travis Perkins for donating all paint and equipment for this worthwhile community effort.

Elusen The Princes's Trust yn gadael eu hôl i helpu Canolfannau Cymunedol lleol. Mae myfyrwyr ar gwrs The Prince's Trust yng Ngholeg Menai, Caernarfon wedi cwblhau cyfnod cymunedol eu cwrs, gan helpu'r gymuned yng Nghaernarfon i gwblhau tri phrosiect paentio. Y dasg gyntaf yng Nghanolfan Gymunedol Noddfa, Cil Peblig oedd ail-baentio’r ail neuadd gydag emwlsiwn yn ogystal â rhoi glòs ar y drysau a'r sgyrtinau. Cwblhawyd y gwaith i safon uchel mewn deuddydd diolch i waith caled y tîm. Yr ail brosiect oedd ail-baentio ystafell yng Nghanolfan Maesincla yng Nghaernarfon. Fe gwblhaodd y myfyrwyr y dasg yma mewn diwrnod diolch i'r rhodd garedig o baent ac offer. Y prosiect olaf yr aeth y tîm i'r afael ag o, oedd tŷ cymunedol ym mhen Ysgubor Goch yng Nghaernarfon. Fe roddodd y tîm wedd newydd i'r paent oedd wedi dechrau dangos ei oed gan ei wneud yn ofod llawer gwell i'r gymuned ddod i'w ddefnyddio i gael cyngor ac arweiniad. Dylid diolch yn arbennig i'r Warden Cymunedol am ei waith diflino, i'r merched yn Noddfa ac yn arbennig Travis Perkins am roi'r holl baent ac offer ar gyfer yr ymdrech gymunedol fuddiol hon.
